The Refroid Hybrid Loadbank is the industry’s first cartridge-based thermal emulator purpose-built for Direct-to-Chip Liquid Cooling (DCLC) systems. It allows precise and repeatable thermal testing of high-density rack cooling infrastructure—without requiring live IT hardware—making it essential for commissioning, development, and R&D environments.

Each modular cartridge delivers a steady 13.5 kW of thermal load, enabling realistic emulation of heat densities up to 135 kW per rack as seen in AI and HPC deployments.
