  • 2021

    Foundation & Early Innovation

    March: Refroid Technologies is founded with a focus on next-generation liquid cooling technologies.
    May: Official operations commence.
    November: Initial design and development of our first-generation Liquid Immersion Cooling (LIC) solutions.

  • 2022

    Product Development & Key Collaborations

    April: Completed the build-out of Version 1 LIC systems.
    May: Entered into a technology partnership with Exatron for immersion-ready servers.
    July: Collaborated with 2CRSi to further enhance immersion server compatibility.
    November: Internal proof-of-concept (PoC) successfully completed for Version 1 LIC pods.
    December: Initiated R&D collaboration with Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL).

  • 2023

    Commercial Validation

    March: Initiated build-out of Version 2 LIC pods.
    May: Secured the first commercial PoC with a leading Indian engineering firm for the Minipod solution.
    December: Signed a second commercial PoC with a global leader in thermal management solutions.

  • 2024

    Strategic Growth & Industry Recognition

    January: Launched a third PoC in collaboration with 2CRSi at their customer experience center in Dubai.
    July: Commenced development activities for Direct Contact Liquid Cooling (DCLC) CDU units.
    October: Emerged from stealth mode with the appointment of Satya Bhavaraju as Chief Executive Officer.
    November:Signed a strategic MoU with BPCL to jointly develop indigenous cooling technologies.
    Honored with the “Most Innovative Cooling Solution” award at the ET-Now Data Center Summit.
    December: Initiated development of next-generation Hybrid Load Banks.

  • 2025

    Delivering Industry Firsts

    January: Announced India’s first indigenous liquid coolant in collaboration with BPCL.
    March: Introduced the industry’s first hybrid load banks for advanced testing environments.
    May: Launched India’s first domestically developed Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) for liquid-cooled data centers.
